Tina Pottery Studio is a working studio on James Island. We sell what we make and teach four nights a week.
Class sizes are small and they fill up. We text you when a spot opens.
The beginners' course runs six weeks, Tuesday or Thursday evenings, and covers throwing, trimming, and one glaze firing. Everything you need is here — you bring an apron and nothing else.
For people who have taken the course, open studio runs Sunday afternoons with a wheel and shelf space by the month.
The shop is stocked with mugs, bowls, and serving pieces from the current firing. Stock changes every few weeks because everything on the shelf was made in the room behind it.
We take commissions for dinner sets and wedding gifts, with about eight weeks' notice. Larger runs are possible but we will tell you honestly if the timeline is not.
